I've never been a very sporty person! I always preferred to stay at home than to go to the gym or do some kind of sport. But I've always tried to make something and not just stay at home!
I used to go to the gym almost 4 times per week. But since August I don't even want to think about it. Thinking of going to the gym is painful! But in the past couple of weeks I've made myself go! And it's been good. It distracts me, and by making my body do something I think it helps getting better. I still don't really like going to the gym! And I still try to come up with excuses not to go but I've been trying and I believe it's good for me if I go!
Other than the gym I've having surf lessons. When I was a kid I used to do bodyboard and for some reason I've stopped and I had forgotten how good it is to be on the water. To go to the beach on Autumn and to enter the sea and just do something there. I've been loving it. It's a new thing, it's completely different from bodyboard and every other sport I've made, but I really like it. I trust the teachers and I've been really enjoying it. And it's good that's something I can do all year and I live 10 minutes from the beach so it's easy to go and it's close to home. And it's also something that makes me meet new people and it makes me get out of my comfort zone because it's not something I would do normally! But, just as the gym, it's been helpful and I really think it's going to make me feel better in the long run.
